It is set to become one of the most economical and comfortable cars in India, catering to the needs of mainly the middle class consumers.. The car’s design will surely appeal to the younger generation with its sexy curves and smooth edges.

Though the company is yet to disclose the price of Maruti Suzuki Cervo, the base model of the car is being projected around Rs. 1,50,000 whereas the top model could go up to Rs. 3,50,000. The top variant will feature advanced safely features like Airbags and ABS.

Under the hood

The Cervo is running successfully in Japan and the company is hoping to repeat the success in India as well. Maruti Suzuki Cervo is a small car powered by 0.7ltr, 660cc petrol engine with VVT (Variable Valve Timing) technology, and Bluetooth capability. New Subaru Impreza WRX Goes on Sale in Japan

New Subaru Impreza WRXSubaru’s new Impreza WRX goes on sale in Japan this week as a late 2007 model, and with it come greater anticipation for the high-performance STI version, which won’t be officially revealed until the Tokyo auto show in October later this year.

The Subaru Impreza WRX five-door hatchback (known as the Impreza S-GT in Japan) features a turbocharged 2.0-liter version of the Subaru boxer-4, and it produces 248 horsepower at 6,000 rpm. When this car hits U.S. shores this fall as a 2008 model, it will have a 2.5-liter iteration of this engine that produces about 225 hp and 226 pound-feet of torque. In the UK, tight European emissions laws mean buyers won’t be offered the WRX model when the hatch arrives there later this year.
